TOTAL QUALITY SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION (MANAGEMENT)

The school has a properly constituted and up-to-date board of governors as a major governing body which is school management committee that comprises of nine members mainly parents of which is 75% of SMC and 25% members of school management committee were elected from local authority and 1/3 is from amongst teachers and the local educationists. They are mandated to undertake critical responsibilities for the proper management of the school by coordinating school programs , policy making toward sour pupils’ progress, they therefore meet once in a month of which minutes and decisions are recorded and filed.

ROLES OF THE SCHOOL MANAGEMANT COMMITEE OF ENTEBBE BRIGHT CHRISTIAN SCHOOL.

  1. To monitor the working of the school.
  2. To prepare and recommend the school development plan.
  3. To monitor the utilizations of donations, grants, school fees and other resources received from appropriate partners, stake holders or the government.
  4. To ensure regularity and punctuality of teachers in the school.
  5. To ensure that the staff acts as a team and change oriented.
  6. To monitor the maintenance norms and the academic standard of the school.
  7. To monitor the implementation of mid-day meals.
  8. To ensure that communication and sharing ideas/ information is excellent and expressed positively.
  9. To accurately assess the strengths and the weaknesses of the school regularly.
  10. To ensure and monitor school discipline.
