In Uganda, having identified high increasing number of school dropout rates of girls and child marriages due to poverty in family background and such a trend is not  only dangerous to girls but to their life and future at large. As a school through the governing body (SMC) came out with a solution to invest in vocational life skills development in the big girls between the age of 14-17 at school who are weak academically and have low chances of graduating in primary education to proceed to secondary (High school) with the aim of achieving economic reliance able to support themselves, families and community, building self-esteem during trainings. Talking to parents and guardians to support and encourage girls to succeed.

AREAS (DISCIPLINE) OF TRAININGS

  • Fashion and design (tailoring)
  • Hair styling and braiding
  • Knitting and embroidery
  • Internal and external decoration
  • Soap making
  • Neck less making, earrings, table mats and bead products.
  • Making crafts, shoes, bags, bangles, jewels, boxes, money passes and rings.

HOW WE DELIVER THE TRAININGS.

  • Through outside sourcing and partnership with those experienced in the proposed training.
  • Affiliation of our training center to licensed experienced institutions to guide and award certified documents after trainee’s graduation.
